Shakira Miami Gardens Concert reviews
Show was fantastic but the Venue SUCKS!
Shakira was amazing as always, with phenomenal sound and stage. The parking issues at the Wheatland amphitheater are notorious and sadly remain unchanged. It's unbelievable that it took until 1:15 am to leave the parking lot, even though the show ended before 10:30 pm! We decided to use the shuttle service to the newly opened Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at Fire Mountain to avoid these problems. However, a whole new set of problems arose. The lack of organization by the HRC and the absence of venue staff to manage the unruly crowd were unacceptable. Pushing and shoving to board the shuttles created a hostile environment. We were among the first in a "line" for the shuttle, but due to the chaos and lack of planning, it took us an hour and a half to board. The inefficiency was evident as many people were still waiting. This experience was so disappointing that I will not return to this venue. It's a shame because the show itself was fantastic, deserving of ten stars for the band. Unfortunately, the venue deserves zero stars.
